I enjoyed this book as much, and perhaps a little bit more, as Madam President. Devlyn and Lauren are amazing and very charming. There are so many moments that caused me to laugh out loud and moments I had tears in my eyes. Especially the wedding scenes were hilarious and so vividly described. Just as in Madam President, the dialogues were outstanding. I loved the children, they were Incredibly funny and their actions so preciously. It was pure pleasure to read this story. I highly recommend both books.Product details

First Lady edition by Blayne Cooper T Novan Romance eBooks Reviews
Easy to fall, completely, into this sequel and the highs and lows of Devlyn and Lauren's life together. The authors had me wrapped up entirely. Be ready for some riveting drama.
I first read Madame President, and had to read First Lady. This was a great series. I enjoyed all of the characters. I laughed out loud often. I definitely would recommend.
I would totally read a two-book story of Dev Marlowe (and fam)’s second term in office. I so thoroughly enjoyed these novels, and First Lady stands up so well as a sequel, which is often very difficult to do in romance.
Madam President and First Lady were my first books by T. NOVAN.I really love how she and Blayne Cooper wrote this 2 books I really enjoyed both and hope for a sequel. There are serious issues as funny ones.Can put them down. Hope there will be a sequel. I really recommend them both. 5stars
I enjoyed this book mostly for the chance to spend additional time with these likable and interesting characters that the authors created. There are some great moments in this book. It's highly entertaining to be along for the ride as the wedding is planned and executed. I also really liked the honest way they deal with Dev's handling of all of the trauma's and stresses of being President after almost having been killed, etc. They even bring up how she dealt with Samantha's death so many years before. There was a lot of poignancy here, and it felt real and gave Lauren and Dev some real issues to work with.
Overall, though, there never really seemed to be a direction or a point that could have made the book stronger. I know that this was an earlier work for both of these authors, and you can see how they grow over the years in their storytelling abilities. There's still a lot of humor and emotion and romance here. But similar to the first book it was almost like a collection of well-written, amusing or touching scenes involving these characters, versus scenes that followed a strong narrative line to a powerful conclusion. Even up to the prologue, which was a precious look at this family in the future as they prepare for life after the White House, I would sometimes stop and think "what's the point of this scene?"
So again, well-written in individual scenes. Strong characterizations and consistent motivations. There are a lot of good pieces here, if only the construction could have had more discipline or been stronger. An above-average 3 to 3-1/2 stars.
I enjoyed this one as much as the first one and I hope there could be another and see how Dev fairs in public life now that she is not the President anymore. One thing I can say for sure I'm glad to see Michael Oats got it in the end he definitely was a character you couldn't even like a little bit. I love this quote from Lauren " I might very be a B***H, But I'm also your First Lady. And least this B***H still has a job." talking to Michael Oats )
First Lady was a very good sequel to Madam President . Also romantic, funny, and endearing. I want a sequel to the sequel!
I wanted to go slow just to enjoy this book. I was surprised that
It just jumped to the end of President Devlyn's eight years.
I was ready for a re- election fight and all the excitement of four more years. I was disappointed another book to finish off her
Eights years was not planned. Well can the writers do Lauren's years in Australia . Please. Loved the book you will also🌹🌹❤️
